How the timetables were compared
- Two ordinary weeks of each year, day by day: 12 January 2026 to 25 January 2026 against 18 January 2027 to 31 January 2027. Every figure is the middle value over the days of its kind — the weekdays, the Saturdays, the Sundays — so a single day of works does not move it.
- A change counts only if the last regular weeks before the timetable change (16 November 2026 to 29 November 2026) still show the old figure, and the weeks of 15 March 2027 to 28 March 2027 the new one. What changed during the year, or only for a few weeks of works, is not listed.
- Lines that run only in summer are compared on the late-August weeks of both years. Replacement buses during works are left out.
- A line is its name and the stops it serves; one name in two regions is two lines. Stops are compared by their official number, so a renamed stop is a renaming and not a closure.
- The list is worked out from the published timetables and not from the operators’ announcements, and it can be wrong where the data is incomplete. The official timetable is the one that applies.
